Meet the family

Hi! Our names are Shae & Steve and we are the farmers of this beautiful piece of land. We are passionate about the environment and our responsibility to respect and attentively cultivate the earth for the benefit of vegetation, livestock and our own wellbeing.

We care for a small family of animals and love all aspects of farming. It is our great joy and passion to welcome campers to our farm to share in the beauty of this place and all that the North West of Tasmania has to offer.

Our seasons

Here is Tasmania we have a cool temperate climate with four seasons.

Summer in the North-West of Tasmania is stunning with magical orange and purple sunsets of an evening. Our average daily temperatures here on the farm are between 12 - 25 degrees in the Summer months. During Summer it can be windy in elevated areas however this is Tasmania, so most months are windy. Due to minimal air pollution in Tasmania the Sun burns hot so be sure to pack your sunscreen.

Autumn is our favourite season with the trees changing colour, the evenings fall sooner and the night skies are clear, starry and bright. Our average Autumn temperature here on the farm ranges between 7 - 17 degrees. Autumn is the perfect weather for a Tasmanian camping escape and the best season to enjoy evenings by the communal campfire toasting marshmallows.

Winter brings beautiful rain, cool winds and snow. Our Winter temperatures average between 0 - 13 degrees. During Winter we only open our Campground Paddock for bookings as its easily accessible from the main road by all vehicle styles.

Spring is stunning and brings new life, flowers and the leaves return to the trees. The average Spring temperature for the farm is between 6 - 17 degrees. Spring can be a windy time here in Tasmania, especially in elevated areas like the farm. If you’re camping in a tent be sure to bring extra pegs.
