Held every March long weekend the Sheffield Steamfest is not to be missed! Marvel at the steam powered machines, ride the local steam train or watch a good old fashioned country tractor pull. A showcase of locally grown, made and gathered food and beverage of the North-West Coast. A great weekend of festive activities and tasting local delights. Pack a picnic rug and head into Sheffield for a day of food and fun.
SHEFFIELD MURAL FEST
Mural Fest is both a mural art competition and festival held annually in Sheffield, Tasmania’s ‘Town of Murals’. The first of its kind in the world, the competition is held in Mural Park, a purpose-built ‘outdoor art gallery’ in the heart of Sheffield, which attracts artists and visitors from around Australia and the world.
GardenFest 2025
During the weekend of November 29th - 30th, 8 private gardens across the Kentish region open for visitors and garden enthusiasts. Now in its 6th year, we see 3 new gardens never before open to the public.
Gardens range from the compact town garden through to the rambling country gardens with great views.
Tickets and a garden map can be purchased from the Epicurean Cafe in Main Street Sheffield.
MOUNT ROLAND FOLK FESTIVAL
Mount Roland Folk Festival, Sheffield - Nov 14 - 16. 2025
The Mount Roland Folk Festival will run from the evening of Friday 14 Nov until Sunday 16 Nov.
The Festival is a showcase of acoustic and folk music genres featuring local, interstate and overseas musicians as well as dance, poetry, workshops, drumming circle and Celtic sessions.
