Things To Do November 2025 - North West Tasmania
The sun has returned after a sleepy Winter and there is no shortage of things we need to get done here at The Farm Cradle Country, however we thought it timely, given we’ve been MIA from our blog since last tourist season, that we get to publishing our list of things to do this November near the farm for all our amazing campers and guests!
So……. find your finest pair of sunnies, your fav hat and a comfy pair of sneakers/hiking boots and get out into the great outdoors of the spectacular North West of Tassie with some of these fun filled adventures!
Tasmazia celebrates there 40th anniversary on Saturday 15th November 2025! A little over 2kms from The Farm Cradle Country this will be a great day out for young and old.
There will be music, children’s games, sausage sizzle, face painting along with all the usual fun and adventure to be had with the mazes, murals and quirky little village of lower crackpot.
Open 10am - 4pm with the last maze entrance at 3pm.

8 private gardens are set to open their gates to visitors this November thanks to the Kentish Garden Clubs annual GardenFest. The gardens are in the beautiful suburbs of Sheffield, Claude Rd, Barrington, Nook and Acacia Hills.
Now in its 6th year, this years garden lineup will include 3 gardens not ever opened to the public before. Some of the gardens are compact town gardens with a mix of beautiful rambling country gardens with great views.
The gardens will be open 10am - 4pm during the weekend of November 29th-30th 2025.
Tickets cost only $10.00 with children free. Tickets and a garden map can be bought from the Epicurean Cafe at 72 Mains Street, Sheffield Tas 7306.
Mount Roland Folk Festival is back November 14th - 16th 2025. Featuring some cool artists from around the globe and some local talent.
There will be children circus activities, workshops, poetry, drumming circle, great food, coffee, festival bar and loads more.

Lower Barrington Community Hall Markets are on November 29th 2025 9am - 1:30pm.
Calling all Lords and Ladies who love a good medieval immersion, then this is the festival for you. 10am Redwater Creek, 14 Spring Street, Sheffield Tas 7306
Deloraine Show 22nd November 2025 at Highland Lakes Road. A great family day out featuring many traditional animal exhibits, horsemanship, bush heritage, whip cracking, trail bike riding, novelty races and children’s activities.
Cost $15, Children $5 and under fives free.
The Longford Garden Club will be holding their 57th annual flower show November 15th - 16th at the Longford town hall.
